How To Clear Storage in Your Browser

Context

If you are experiencing trouble logging into hyBlast or viewing the app's latest features, there is a quick fix for this: Clear Storage within your browser. 

Quick Steps

Chrome

  1. Right-click and select Inspect
  2. Click on the Application tab
  3. Click on the Clear Storage tab in the far left of the window
  4. Click Clear Site Data
  5. Exit the window and refresh the page
Firefox
  1. Right-click and select Inspect Element
  2. Click the Storage tab
  3. Click Local Storage in the far left of the window
  4. Right-click on the hyBlast URL and click Delete All
  5. Exit the window and refresh the page
Safari
  1. Click the Develop tab and select Show Web Inspector
  2. Navigate to the Console tab
  3. Select All and then the trash icon to the far right of the window
  4. Exit the Web Inspector and refresh the page

Tutorial Guide

In this tutorial, you will learn how to clear your storage in your browser. This tutorial will cover Google Chrome, Firefox, and Safari.

Google Chrome

1. Right-click on the hyBlast webpage and select Inspect.



2. Navigate to the Application tab. 



*We recommend changing your display to the bottom of your screen. Do this by clicking the three dots in the upper right of the inspect screen and selecting the third Dock Style layout option.



3. Click Clear Storage in the far left of the Inspect screen.



4. Click Clear Site Data, exit the Inspector window, and refresh your page.



Firefox

1. Right-click on the screen and select Inspect Element.



2. Navigate to the Storage tab.



*To change your display to the bottom of your screen, click on the three dots in the upper right of the Inspect Element screen and select Dock to Bottom.



3. Click Local Storage in the far left of the Inspect Element screen.



4. Click the dropdown arrow and select the hyBlast URL. Right-click and select Delete All. After you exit the Inspector Element page, click refresh.


Safari

*Before completing the below steps, ensure your Web Inspector is enabled. To do this: Safari, Preferences, Advanced, check Show Develop menu in menu bar. Click here for more information.

1. In the Develop tab, click Show Web Inspector


2. Navigate to the Console tab.


3. Under Console, select All then the trash icon on the far right of the Web Inspector window.



4. Exit out of the Web Inspector and refresh the page.


You should now be able to login to hyBlast and view the latest app version.
