Context

hySurvey allows you to complete market surveys each week. Certain fields are mandatory, while others are optional.

Tutorial

In this tutorial, you will learn how to complete a market survey using the hySurvey app.

Step 1 - Navigate to hySurvey

Navigate to hySurvey.




Step 2 - Navigate to Home or Surveys Tab

Navigate to either the Home tab or Surveys tab *Note: You can complete surveys from either tab.






Step 3 - Start Survey

Click 'Start Survey' to display the survey.



Essentials

The first subtab is the 'Essentials' tab. There are two sections to complete: Prospect Info and Resident Info.



The Prospect Info covers:
  1. # of Tours - How many prospects toured during the week covered by the survey
  2. # of Leases - How many prospects leased during the survey week
  3. # of Cancels - How many prospects canceled during the survey week
  4. # of Denials - How many prospects were not approved during the survey week
  5. Net # - Leases - Cancels - Denials = Net
  6. Conversion Ratio Percentage (CRP) - Leases / Tours = CRP


The Resident Info section covers:
  1. # of Move-Ins - How many prospects moved in during the survey week
  2. # of Move-Outs - How many residents moved out during the survey week
  3. Current Occupancy Percentage - As of the day you complete the survey
  4. Percent Leased - Total # of Occupied Apartments + Future Move-Ins - Future Move-Outs = Total / Total # of Units



Pricing Matrix

The Pricing Matrix is the next subsection. Here you can indicate the pricing for each unit you offer and any fees.
*Note: This section must be completed in order to view your comps' surveys.



Specials

Finally, there is the Specials subsection. Here, you can indicate if you have any special for the survey week. *Note: In order to swap pricing matrices with competitors, you will need to complete this section.



Step 4 - Share Your Survey

Share your survey. Once complete, you will be able to share your survey with your network. At this time, you will also have access to your competitors' surveys that have been fully completed.
