How To Create an Event Using hyEvents - Agent Experience

Tutorial

In this tutorial, you will learn how to create a hyEvent as an Agent.

Step 1 - Navigate to hyEvents

Navigate to hyevents.hyly.app and click Sign In.



Or,
Login to your my.hy.ly account, under your sub-org, navigate to hyEvents.




Once logged in, you will be taken to the Event's default tab.    



Step 2 - Click on +Event

To create a new event, click the +Event button in the top right corner.

*Note: To edit an existing event, click the Edit button to the right of the event.



You will immediately be taken to the event template featuring your property's branding. You can edit every field you see:
  1. Event Title
  2. Date & Time
  3. Image
  4. Subtitle
  5. Body
  6. Join Us fields
  7. Location
  8. Address


Ensure to save your changes.

Step 3 - Omnichannel Preview

Preview your event in the Omnichannel Preview.

Step 4 - Schedule Your Event Invite

Finally, you will want to schedule your event. To do so, enter the email/s (and/or SMS numbers) to send a test email to:


Step 5 - Publish Event

Publish your event on the Property Website through the Publish Event subsection by selecting the date and time and sending your event to approvers. 



Step 6 - Select Audience and Schedule Invite

After you send your test email, select your audience and click 'Schedule Invite.'




Share Invite on Social Media

You can also choose to post the invitation on the social media platform.



Step 7 - Schedule Thank You Email

Set a buffer time for the Thank You email before it goes to the attendees. The buffer time starts as soon as the event time ends.
