How to edit hyTours auto-responder emails

In this tutorial, you will learn how to edit the autoresponder email before a hyTours touring automation is triggered.

There are 6 different tour automations as follows:
  1. Tour Scheduled
  2. Tour Rescheduled
  3. Tour Cancelled
  4. Tour Completed
  5. Night Before Tour
  6. No Show
You can follow these steps to edit the email for a particular hyTours touring automation

Step 1 - Go to Automation

Under your Org, go to 'Automation'



Step 2 - Go to Lifecycle Plays

Click on 'Playbooks' to view other tabs on the left, then click on 'Lifecycle Plays'



Step 3 - Click on Edit automation

Hover on to the automation you want to edit and then click on 'Edit'


Step 4 - Go to Notify Prospect, click on Edit

Under the option 'Notify Prospect', you need to click on the 'Edit' button to edit the email that will be sent to the prospect after the automation is triggered


Step 5 - Edit Email Body

Under the 'Email Body' section, you can click on the different Email Slices on the left to change the header image, body text, and etc. Click on the 'Save Changes' button to make sure the changes you made are saved!



Step 6 - Email Header

Under the 'Email Header' section, you can change the subject of the email, the preheader of the email, and etc. Click on the 'Update' button to make sure the changes are updated!



Step 7 - Send a Test

After making the changes in the sections 'Email Header' & 'Email Body', you can simply send a test email to your email address, under the 'Send a Test' section, to make sure all the changes you made are reflected in the final email
  1. You need to enter the email address to which the test email will be sent
  2. You can also change the subject line prefix of the test email
  3. Select the lead info you would like to use using any of the three options shown below
  4. Finally, click on 'Send'


Step 8 - Save the Changes

Click on 'When Then' at the top left, and then click on 'Save Changes'



The email and the automation are successfully updated! If you need to edit other automation(s), you can follow the same steps after Step 3.
