Send Your First eBlastIn this training, you will learn how to create an eBlast Event in hyBlast. You will also learn how to create and schedule Announcements, Offers, and Pre-Leasings.
- Navigating to and Selecting Templates

- Scheduling the eBlast.
Step 1 - Navigate and Select Templates
Under my hy.ly under the sub org select hyblast app > select the property > Navigate to Templates found in the sidebar on the left of the app.
Go to the Events dropdown found under the Property tab, and select your desired eBlast template.
*Note: You’ll notice this tab also contains templates for Announcements, Offers, and Pre-Leasing. You can follow these exact steps in this training when wanting to create any of these items.
Step 2 - Create and Edit the eBlast
After selecting your desired template, you'll notice three dots that display a dropdown menu allowing you to Create eBlast or Preview an eBlast.
*Note: Previewing an eBlast allows you to view the eBlast template with your property's logo.
After clicking Create eBlast, you will be able to edit the eBlast's fields.
Subject: Here you can edit the Subject/purpose of the eBlast.
Title: Here you can display the title of your event.
Image: You can Replace of Delete the image in this field by highlighting over the existing image and clicking Replace or Delete.
Subtitle: Here you can add an additional tag line for your eBlast Event.
Body: In this section, you can add the central message for all recipients.When & Where: These sections allow you to set the time and location of your eBlast event.
CTA URL: The CTA (Call To Action) URL allows your eBlast to redirect the recipient to a site of your choice. For more information about this Advanced Feature, please review our hyBlast 103: Advanced Features Within eBlasts.
CTA Text: The CTA Text reflects the text that will appear in the button of the eBlast.
Step 3 - Testing the eBlast
After you finish editing the eBlast, you will save it and go the Schedule tab.
Before you can Schedule your eBlast you will need to test it. To do so, enter your desired test email/s and click Send.
Select the Schedule tab and send the test eBlast.
Step 4 - Schedule the eBlast
After testing the eBlast, you are now ready to Schedule the eBlast. To do so, selecting the recipients, date, and time and clicking Schedule.
*Note: All eBlasts must be scheduled at least 15 minutes in advance. You will have until the scheduled time to edit or abort the eBlast entirely.
Your scheduled eBlast will appear in your calendar.
You are now ready to create an eBlast in hyBlast.
