hyCRM Phone Sources : Forwarding Number

Prerequisites  

  • Make sure the client has access to hyBeacon and hyCRM. 
  • Make sure the Voice Call for Twilio setup is done. 

Steps 1 - Navigate to Tracking Phone

My hy.ly > Select Org > hyBeacon>Tracking Phone #s




Step 2 - Select Property

Select the property for which you need to forward the number



Step 3 - Select the Source 

Click on the Source name for which you need to forward the number.


Step 4 - Select the Tracking Phone Option

Step 4a - If You Already Have a Phone Number

If you already have a phone number that is being forwarded then you need to select the following checkbox and add your tracking number to it.


Step 4b - If You Don't Have a Phone Number

If you don't have any phone number and you need to purchase a number, you have two options
    1. Buy 1.800 Number
    2. Buy Local Number
i.  If you need a number like 1.800 then Check  I need a phone number to track and record calls on this source  and hit [Buy 1.800 Number] and add a tracking number.

ii. If you need a local number then Check I need a phone number to track and record calls on this source and hit [Buy Local Number] and add a tracking number.

Step 5 - Enter Forwarding Number

Enter Forwarding Phone number on which you need to forward that number to if any.




  1. So according to the above screenshots when someone calls on 123-456-7890, phone number 999-888-7777 will ring as all of the calls on 123-456-7890 will be forwarded to 999-888-7777.
  2. If you are seeing any issues or the calls are not being forwarded you should first check voice & fax setting on Twilio.
