How To Configure Tour Site

Context

In this article, you will learn how to set up the tour site.

Step 1 - Navigate to hyTours

Under your Sub-org, go to hyTours.

Step 2 - Navigate to Admin Settings : Tour Site

Click on 'Agent Calendar' to view other options, then click on 'Admin Settings: Tour Site' to set up the tour site.


Step 3 - Edit Tour Site Settings

On the tour site settings page,
  1. You can choose to keep or hide the property logo on the tour site using the 'Show Property Logo' checkbox.
  2. You can change the title for the tour site using the section 'Page Title'.
  3. You can change the description or the body text of the tour site using the section 'Description'.


Step 4 - Customize CTA Buttons

The default 'View Now' section is provided and contains two CTA links which are customizable.
Both the Pre-Recorded Video and 3D Tour has an editable title section and a section to edit the hover message.



Step 5 - Edit the 'Schedule a Tour' Section 

The default 'Schedule a Tour' section is provided and contains three tour type CTA buttons, that can be enabled or disabled according to the property, which includes In-Person Tours, Live Video Tour, and Self-Guided Tours.
All the 3 tour types section has an editable title section and a section to edit the hover message.


Step 6 - Add Videos Links to the Pre-Recorded Section

Click on the 'Tour Experience' tab, to configure and add videos to the Pre-Recorded section.
  1. Click on the 'Pre-Recorded Video' section, where you will be able to edit the page title and the description.


  1. You can then add the videos by adding the title for the video, providing the Video URL or code, and uploading a thumbnail for the video.
Note - YouTube generates its own thumbnail, therefore you'll have to upload the thumbnail for videos other than YouTube.


  1. You can add more videos using the 'Add Video' button.



Step 7 - Add Videos to the 3D Tour Section

Click on the 'Tour Experience' tab, to configure and add videos to the 3D Tour section.
  1. Click on the '3D Tour' section, where you will be able to edit the page title and the description.

  1. You can then add the videos by adding the title for the video, providing the Video URL or code (for example iframe code), and uploading a thumbnail for the video.
Note - YouTube generates its own thumbnail, therefore you'll have to upload  the thumbnail for other videos other than YouTube.



  1. You can add more videos using the 'Add 3D Tour' button.


Step 8 - Get the Pop-Up Script to be Installed in Website

Click on the 'Embeds' tab to get the Pop-Up Script for the tour site to be installed on the property website.



Use the 'Copy' button to get the Pop-Up Script and you can check the steps to embed the tour site to your property by clicking on the 'Show Instructions' button.




You can provide the script to the website developer to implement the tour site on the property website.
